Collaborative Talent Celebrates Turning One
Happy one year (plus some!) to us! This post is a tad late, but it was very important for us to write. We recently celebrated our first anniversary, and we couldn’t be more happy or proud with where things stand for Collaborative Talent. The last year has taught us a tremendous amount about the business, our clients, and ourselves.
We’re still here. One year later, and we are still here. To read those words, to say them aloud, feels incredible. It has been one helluva ride, with some (a lot) of road bumps and learning experiences, but we have come out stronger than before. There are countless stats out there about failed businesses, ones who closed shortly before or after their first year, but we are here. We have surpassed that “milestone” and we are going to continue to grow.
Throughout the last year, we experimented in a variety of ways and found our footing working with early-stage startups. A bit of a change for us, as our past lives were spent working with larger corporations. The change of pace is exactly what we needed to push ourselves to the next level. There are so many awesome, driven entrepreneurs out there who know how to execute and bring new ideas to life, and we love supporting them by finding the talent they need to grow.
One of the best things about this new journey is the enhanced ability to give back. We make a focused effort to contribute part of our revenues to different charities. In our first year, we were fortunate enough to donate to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, The Stray Animal Adoption Program, The Dragonfly Foundation, and A Kid Again. Helping others is in our DNA, and we will continue to identify great charities whose missions we align with.
We are so very thankful for those that have, and continue to, support us throughout this journey. We have been very fortunate to work with some really cool, innovative, and impactful companies and Founders. We have also been able to build relationships with smart, talented and driven candidates, and we look forward to continuing that.
The 1-year mark is a big milestone, but it is far from the end of our journey. We are excited to be a part of upcoming innovations by helping find that talented people needed to pull off some of these moonshots.
